Description: GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide-1) is a copper(II) coordination complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, in which the peptide chelates a single copper ion to form a stable square-planar complex. In research models, it is studied as a copper-delivery ligand and cell-signaling modulator, used to investigate mechanisms of extracellular matrix remodeling, collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, and fibroblast activity. It is also employed to examine redox-silenced copper transport and gene-expression modulation in tissue-repair and dermal regeneration assays.
