- TB-500 is the synthetic form of Thymosin Beta-4, a 43-amino-acid, actin-sequestering peptide and the most abundant member of the beta-thymosin family. It functions primarily by binding G-actin monomers to modulate actin polymerisation and cytoskeletal dynamics. In laboratory and preclinical research models, it is investigated for its role in cell migration, angiogenesis, tissue repair, and modulation of inflammatory signalling pathways.
